What We Do
Jessi’s House is a residential program in the Arkansas River Valley for LGBTQ+ young adults who are homeless or about to become homeless. Our residents are provided with not just the basic necessities like food and shelter, but also assistance from our case managers who work with each resident to determine their individual goals and help create a road map to get there.
Our Mission
In Arkansas, the rate of family rejection is high. Our residents have gone without love, support, and stability from the adults in their lives. When families fail to provide, we hope that state and local aid will fill that gap. Unfortunately, in Arkansas, LGBTQ+ individuals do not have access to that safety net. Instead of helping, the state and local government poses a hostile threat to the LGBTQ+ community – our young adults are in crisis.
